Canadian born and raised. He hacks banks during the day and other random things at night. Last time he was hacking air traffic control, now he’s hacking sex toys. His interest is very diverse and has led him to do work that has allowed him to speak all over the world and change it a few times.

Topic: Hacking the Internet of Dongs

There is an under researched branch of the Internet of Things: The Internet of Dongs. Sex toys have now become internet connected devices and subject to a whole host of risks and vulnerabilities the industry never considered. Due to their private and intimate nature IoD devices should consider security and privacy more than your average IoT device. They should, but it turns out that they don't.

This talk will explore the latest generation of connected sex toys on the market and analysis of the security on some of these devices we’ve acquired and tested so far. This talk will also discuss the IoD projects efforts to influence the industry and some of our successes so far.
